In his 1st game Jacob performed well, bowling 5 tight overs, taking 1/18. His wicket was courtesy of a sharp return catch off his own bowling as he beat the batsmen in flight. Sadly, Randwick/Petersham lost in a low scoring encounter in the local Derby against Eastern Suburbs.
At the halfway point in the season Jacob has now taken 24 wickets at an average of 20 and scored over 200 valuable runs for the prestigious Randwick/Petersham club in his first season. Jacob will be returning for another Scottish season in 2019, aiming to build on a 2018 season where he took 21 league wickets at 13.6 and scored 259 league runs, including a dazzling century at Forfarshire.
