JUNIORS

Royal High Corstorphine Cricket Club is based at the Royal High School in Barnton and is looking for new players for its junior section. We are particularly keen to recruit players in the under 13 and 15 age groups. The Club would also welcome back anyone who has played or trained with us before.

Junior practice takes place at the Royal High School on Tuesday nights until the end of August. Practice starts at 6.00 and costs £2 per session or £15 for the season. All equipment is provided.

Corstorphine runs sides at Under 13 and Under 15 level. Under 13s play matches on Monday evenings and Under 15s play on Wednesday. Both sides start games at 6.00 and play their home matches at the Royal High. For fixtures click here. Younger children can play in kwik cricket tournaments arranged throughout summer. These generally take place on Sunday mornings. Details will appear on the website.

In recent years RHC players have represented Lothian Local Authorities Schools, East of Scotland District and the Scotland National Team. 5 players have been selected for the Edinburgh Schools squads this season. We have players in East of Scotland Squads at Under 11, 12, 14 and 16 levels.

Junior cricket at Corstorphine is run by qualified coaches and is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 16. Juniors at the older end of this age group can also play for one of the Club’s three senior teams.
